"I waited patiently for Yhwh;
and he inclined to me, and heard my cry..."
Psalm 40:1

Magoo had his first of monthly checkups on his lungs this morning, and what an answer to prayers! His lungs are still clear, so between the physio patting and puffers we have been told that this should keep him clear for now. They have decided to delay testing for CF for now, which I'm a bit disappointed in as the hospital was telling us it was a must....but we are in Yhwh's hands and I really must learn to trust Him more!

If it wasn't for the fact that Magoo is going to a small wonderful school where I know he is being watched (and taught by God fearing individuals) and that they have our full trust to intervene in case of an emergency, we would be pulling him out and home schooling where I can watch him. What a sure blessing CHC is to us, especially right now!

Btw Kate, thanks so much for the Thursday offer (you are a sweetheart)! I will be coming in anyways for groceries but will let you know how we are doing! Another sister has offered to drive him home once a week as well.

Now I sit here and type while the girls are tucked in for naps and the bread is rising and the fruit sauce is bubbling away again (it takes at least 1-2 days to get the right texture) and this time on 2 not 6 so it should not burn!

The house is a disaster

But this is another place I need to work on. No not that I should get it spotless, but that I need to get the correct order in our priorities. I have a deep set Martha syndrome....not Martha Stewart but Martha the Disciple of Christ.

I really struggle with that balance.

"One things is needful and Mary has chosen that good thing" was one for Princess' memory verses and Mummy needs to memorize not only the words but the practical implications. Husband is wonderful and frequently says that he'd rather a happy home then a clean home. Isn't he the best!

So instead of frantically cleaning up after I sign off, I think it is time I got into some good sound study again. The Summer was great, but this was lacking a bit in all the busyness of preparations for trips and then the aftermath! Any suggestions? I'm going to start on sister's class for Psalm 4 and then would love some ideas.

"He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God; many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yhwh. Blessed is that man that maketh Yhwh his trust..." Psalm 40:2-4

Carpooling could help and be a blessing! As for suggestions, I would encourage that one. :)
